Getting to Simple

Books, books, books!

I am a self proclaimed business book junkie. I can tell because Amazon is running out of suggestions for me, although I confess here and out loud that I haven’t read every book in my collection (and there are more stashed just about everywhere). Then there are the business blogs…

Yes, we must charge ourselves, whether employee or employer to figure out a way to be better at what we do, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a road map tailored just for us? If you define yourself as a wedding industry entrepreneur, your time has come.

The Simple Plan

Enter Michelle Loretta and Kelly Simants from Sage Wedding Pros, a consultancy with a mission to create sustainable business in the wedding industry. They have created The Simple Plan, a 2-day workshop that focuses on a smart, fun, collaborative method to writing your business plan. That’s right, your business plan will magically appear without too much blood, sweat or tears. Upcoming sessions are being held in Los Angeles and San Francisco in May and I am very excited to announce that I will be joining Sage Wedding Pros to teach wedding professionals how to define their operational strategy at the LA session.

Join us this May 12-13 in LA for The Simple Plan

For info and tickets, visit www.thesimpleplan.biz

If you are interested in attending, (and of course I think you should be), let me know, I have a few special discount codes for my friends.

Hi Holly! I just learned about The Simple Plan this weekend after someone retweeted an article from the Sage Wedding Pros blog. I am hoping to start my own wedding planning business and would love the opportunity to attend this workshop; the discount code would certainly help! Everything happens for a reason, and that must be why I happened to visit your blog today :) How can I receive the discount? Thanks, Alison
